I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at twenty-one. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
