Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

by Lawrence on Oct.09, 2025, under Blackjack

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your profit, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops out.

black jack is so very similar to a wild ride the similarities are striking. As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. Undoubtedly you have to be a player who can adjust well to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is choked full with them.

If you like the small coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the mad ride is with a larger wager, then hop on for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the good life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride … your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly remember how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
